Current Disposition: Balcony solar bill failed
Oklahoma has no law addressing balcony solar. House Bill 4060, the Plug-In Solar Power Amendments Act, would have defined qualifying portable solar generation devices and exempted them from state interconnection, net-metering, utility approval and related fee requirements when they meet nationally recognized electrical safety standards. It passed the House but died in the Senate when the Legislature adjourned sine die on May 14, 2026.
